    Get Your Sample Ballot

Know your sample ballot before you get to the polls. Sample ballots for the New Hampshire state primary in Weare and Goffstown — mark one at your kitchen table instead of deciding in the booth.

This is a sample ballot, not a real ballot. Marking it is not voting and nothing here is sent to election officials. Only the official ballot you receive at your polling place counts.

Make your choices here, then print a sample ballot with your marks already on it. It even fills in the uncontested races for you if you want. This is practice, not a vote.

Sample ballots differ by town and by district, so choose the town where you're registered to vote. Every sample ballot below is blank and matches the layout the Secretary of State prints.

How the September 8 primary works

    • You vote one party's official ballot. In a New Hampshire state primary you pick either the Republican or the Democratic ballot, not both.
    • Registered Republicans and Democrats receive their own party's official ballot. Undeclared voters may choose either one at the polls, and may return to undeclared status before leaving.
    • Sample ballots are for planning only. Nothing you mark on a sample ballot is a vote and nothing is submitted to anyone. The official ballot you fill out at your polling place is the only one that counts.
